In the UK, Safran Seats specializes solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales, and Brackley, England.
A recognized technical specialist, the Project Technical Integrator (PTI) has responsibility for ensuring the design fulfills the complete range of applicable requirements for the multiple development projects & platforms within their scope. The PTI is responsible to ensure that the product design meets the Airline, Airframer, and Certification technical requirements including weight, reliability, and cost.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, Chemical, Software, or Computer Engineering.
Desirable: A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering development project team within Design, Stress, Manufacturing, or Certification Engineering.
Essential: Experience in managing and addressing requirements gaps and trade-offs directly with stakeholders and engineering management.
Essential: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering requirements management, validation & verification (V&V).
Desirable: Experience with using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to define operational, functional, and physical requirements.
Desirable: Experience in progressing DFMEA with a cross-functional development team.
