Project Team Manager - Homelessness
Location: Aldgate, EC3N
Reporting to: Service Manager
Responsible for: Caseworkers, Student Placements, Volunteers
Contract: Hybrid - Full Time (3 days office-based, 2 days remote)
Salary: £17.40 per hour

Your Role & Responsibilities

1. Lead & Motivate - Inspire and support your team to achieve outcomes that prevent and relieve homelessness.
2. Data-Driven Solutions - Analyse housing trends and service performance to drive improvements.
3. Landlord & Housing Engagement - Build and manage relationships with private landlords to secure safe accommodation.
4. Financial Oversight - Monitor budgets, oversee transactions, and prepare reports.
5. Ensure Compliance - Maintain high standards in service delivery, adhering to housing legislation and safeguarding protocols.

Who We're Looking For

1. Housing & Homelessness Expertise or Sales - Solid understanding of the Homelessness Reduction Act, Housing Act, and welfare benefits or if you have led a Sales team.
2. Private Rental Market Knowledge - Experience in securing housing within the private sector.
3. Team Leadership - Proven ability to manage, support, and develop a high-performing team.
4. Safeguarding & Compliance - Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and health & safety regulations.
5. Relationship Building - Excellent skills in engaging with landlords, local authorities, and support agencies.
6. Problem Solver - Ability to work independently, think strategically, and deliver tangible results.
7. Lived Experience Valued - We welcome applications from candidates with lived experience in homelessness or resettlement.
