At Bouygues UK, we're on the lookout for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team for an exciting opportunity with one of our West London Projects.

In this role, you'll be pivotal in maximizing the commercial results and cash position of the project, driving optimum profit performance against our internal budgets. You'll oversee the procurement and management of subcontractors, ensuring all financial and contractual aspects are meticulously handled. Your collaborative spirit will come to the fore as you work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to deliver excellence.

We're seeking individuals with a strong background in residential, commercial, or healthcare sectors, who have previously worked with main contractors. Your ability to produce accurate financial reports, including forecasts and net margins, will be crucial. Additionally, you should have a keen commercial awareness, an eye for detail, and a proven ability to mentor and develop graduates and assistant quantity surveyors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Post-contract financial forecasting and reporting
  • Design management and value engineering
  • Sub-contract and consultant procurement and management
  • Client account management
  • Leading and nurturing a team of graduate and assistant surveyors
