Due to ongoing work and an abundance of new properties secured, they now require a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.

You will be responsible for managing a team of people, working closely with internal teams, managing budgetary constraints using forensic cost control techniques, providing mitigation strategies, having a good understanding of cost value reconciliation, and having experience managing principal and subcontractor arrangements.

The Role:

Project Quantity Surveyor - Property Services
Working in and around East London.
Managing principal and subcontractor arrangements
Report to the Managing QS
Manage budgetary constraints using forensic cost control techniques
Be highly numerate with data interrogation skills

The Candidate:

Experience of working in Social Housing
Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification / Degree / HNC / CIOB / RICS
Commercial awareness with good legal/contractual knowledge
Competent in use of standard methods of measurement
