Project Quantity Surveyor

Kenton Black are recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor, on a permanent basis. The client is a growing construction contractor with an annual turnover of £10 million. Based in Dundee, they are now looking to onboard a proven commercial professional to service their projects within the East of Scotland.

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the costs of construction projects from start to finish. The role includes preparing budgets, procuring sub-contractors as well as monitoring expenses and financial reporting to ensure projects remain within budget. You will assess risks, liaise with clients and contractors, and negotiate terms to ensure efficient delivery.

As a minimum you must have a Degree in Quantity Surveying and have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor (within contracting). Work history must be backed by positive working references.

As a reward, you will be offered a competitive salary between £50,000 and £55,000 and will be given opportunities for career progression, with the potential to advance to Senior Quantity Surveyor and beyond as a reward for excellent performance.
