Job description

Job Title: Project Professional - Delivery

Location: Barrow in Furness. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Starting from £35,802- depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:
  1. Providing day-to-day support to the Project Leader
  2. Running reports and metrics to identify and communicate trends to peers and senior management
  3. Identifying Risk, Quality and Scope management issues
  4. Monitoring cost and quality delivery to the Project
  5. Running System of Work (SoW) packs
  6. Enablement of work packages for execution by the Operations organisation
  7. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:
  1. Project reporting and presenting experience
  2. Good stakeholder management experience
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Desirable:
  1. Experience within a Project Management environment
  2. Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. APMQ or Prince2)
  3. Experience using SAP
  4. Knowledge of Teamcenter

The Mid Area Project Planning & Controls Build team:

You will be joining a small, close-knit team where your progression is valued and you'll get great exposure across the wider business. This role is unique in that you are involved in the actual build and you will be able to see and touch the product. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
