£500 per day PAYE or £696.55 per day limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35

Our client is looking for an experienced Head of FM and Capital Projects.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have experience of managing and developing Facilities management teams and capital projects; this post is for a minimum of 12 months.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, manage and direct the strategy and internal governance for the delivery of facilities building management (FM) and capital projects across the Council and its partner services.
2. Implement the strategic overview of FM operations and ensure that facilities management operations activities are regularly reviewed regarding contract management.
3. Develop and implement the Council's capital programme strategy in consultation with other stakeholders.
4. Provide strategic direction and lead the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and review of the Council's corporate health and safety strategy and policies.
5. Ensure the Council has in place strategies and plans to address a major incident within the Borough in line with London Resilience Standards and the Civils Contingencies Act.
6. Oversee the formulation and delivery of plans for the management of the Council's property assets.
7. Develop and implement effective arrangements for Facilities Management in all premises occupied by the Council.
8. Lead and oversee the Council's major corporate property-related capital projects.
9. Advise on health and safety policy, objectives, and performance measures.
10. Produce an annual Council-wide health and safety plan and regular performance reports.
11. Ensure that all statutory and legislative requirements are met in respect of the Council's ownership and use of its property assets.
12. Oversee the delivery of major capital projects, ensuring effective project management.
13. Manage revenue and capital budgets to achieve the Council's priorities.
