Are you a strategic planner with a proven track record in project planning? Join our team in Newcastle as a Lead Project Planner for our flexible pipes business. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of complex projects in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Developing and taking ownership of project schedules from project handover meeting through contract term including maintenance of S-curves, physical progress tables and detailed progress tracking.
• Developing project schedules for bid work, ensuring high levels of liaison with the business master scheduler/production controllers to ensure bid work can be executed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or roadblocks.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in project planning processes and tools.

• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the planning tool Primavera P6.
