The Vacancy

Proeon Systems Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is a specialist systems integrator supplying control and safety solutions for complex and critical applications in a variety of industry sectors that principally include the oil & gas, renewable, hydrogen, nuclear, and utility industries.

Proeon is a growing company and has over the last decade proven itself as a market leader in providing control & safety systems for specialist application areas. We are continually looking for people to be part of our growing and forward-looking company. We are now hiring for a Project Planner to join the Proeon Team Full-Time, working from our Hethel Engineering Centre in Hethel, Norwich, Norfolk, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To monitor project progress, communicate updates to stakeholders, and ensure accurate schedules and software systems for all ongoing projects.
  • Be responsible for creating an appropriate work breakdown structure for all projects.
  • Assist the Operations Director and Project Managers in general tasks.
  • Work closely with the Project Management team and other teams such as Procurement and Engineering to ensure Project and Engineering Schedules are accurate.
  • Monitor project progress against the plan, making suggestions on how to expedite and improve the timeline.

Person Specification:

  • PC literate with experience of Word, Excel, Projects.
  • P6 Project Management Software - desirable.
  • Positive & professional attitude.
  • Organised, diligent, and has an attention to detail.
  • Able to work on own initiative to assess, manage, and resolve problems/issues.
  • Good time management and a strong delivery performance.
  • Have an open mind to change and be flexible to different situations.
  • Ability to take on responsibility as the business grows.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £35,000 - £50,000 Subject to experience.
