Project Planner – Chemical Project

Location: Hull (Hybrid)

Contract: 12 Months (Long-term potential)

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Industry: Chemical

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Planner to support a chemical project in Hull. This contract role requires you to develop the project plan from scratch, ensuring an efficient and structured schedule to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan using Primavera P6.
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to define project milestones and scheduling requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, update schedules, and identify risks.
  • Ensure project timelines align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in planning chemical or process industry projects.
  • Strong expertise in Primavera P6.
  • Ability to develop and manage complex project schedules from the ground up.
  • Experience working on large-scale industrial projects in a hybrid work environment.
  • Understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction workflows.
