The Nuffield Family Justice Observatory is seeking a Project Officer to support the development and delivery of programmes and projects, including a specific focus on work relating to private law proceedings and separating families.
The Nuffield Family Justice Observatory is an organisation that seeks to improve the lives of children and families by using data and research to hold up a mirror to children’s and families’ experiences of family court and their circumstances pre- and post- court proceedings.
Acknowledged as a trusted source of information about the family justice system, we have worked closely with judges, lawyers, social workers, families and policy makers to improve practice for children and families, convening discussion between different professional groups and supporting new innovations.
This newly created role will support the development and delivery of programmes and projects across the NFJO, including a specific focus on work relating to private law proceedings and separating families.
You will have experience of working in a field relating to child welfare, justice or services or systems which support families. You will be adept at developing and managing projects, being self-motivated, well-organised and adaptable. You will also be familiar with using data and research evidence to inform changes in policy and practice.
