Job description

Job Title: Project Manager – Supply Chain

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: From £56,000 – depending on skills & experience

What You’ll Be Doing:
  1. Establishing delivery plans for the UK Submarine Supply Chain to increase build rate.
  2. Supporting the management of cost, schedule and technical performance of the teams.
  3. Producing, coordinating, managing and communicating product data inputs and outputs to senior business forums and supplier reviews.
  4. Assuring the team deliverables are defined in the contracts, associated Control Account Plans and Build programmes.
  5. Supporting the implementation and governance of Life Cycle Management (LCM), including successful Phase Reviews and Project Performance reviews.
Essential:
Your skills and experiences:
  1. Project Management experience within complex projects in multi-disciplinary environments.
  2. Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. APMQ or Prince2).
  3. Ability to resolve and guide others to solve complex project-related issues.
Desirable:
  1. Experience developing business cases.
  2. Previous experience leading a team of cross-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
