A Snapshot of Your Day: As a Project Manager in the Gas Services Distributed GCO organisation at Siemens Energy, every day presents a new set of challenges and opportunities. You'll play a pivotal role in implementing customer contracts for new gas turbine equipment, ensuring flawless execution from contract signature to successful operation. Your day will be dynamic, ranging from responding to customer queries, coordinating engineering efforts, to monitoring the progress of purchasing and manufacturing. Your work will be instrumental in driving the project to commercial operation and ensuring the warranty period is handled effectively.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Set up and manage project for internal organisation to complete equipment engineering, procurement, and manufacturing accurately.
  • Acting as the single point of contact with the customer, ensuring that all enquiries and open points are resolved to the happiness of both parties.
  • Resolving issues that arise during the execution of the project to minimise their impact on both Siemens Energy and the customer.
  • Ensuring that the obligations of Siemens Energy are completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • Managing the risks and opportunities that arise during execution.
  • Establishing effective communication with partners regarding regular project updates, design reviews, factory testing, and witness points.

What You Bring:

  • Extensive experience in customer relationship management with previous project management experience, demonstrating capabilities in implementing large, complex, high-value projects.
  • Working knowledge of the broad range of technical subject matter and engineering fields that is required to craft, procure, manufacture, deliver, install, and commission a gas turbine.
  • Project management experience to ensure that the obligations of Siemens Energy are completed in accordance with the contract requirements, while mitigating the risks that arise during execution.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines; works effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field. PMP / IPMA Certification or equivalent, or successfully complete IPMA certification within two years of the role. Required travel 15%.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
