ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, world-class motion simulation business seeking to expand its operations team. Please note that this is not a technical position; you don't need to be an engineer in order to apply!

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Project Manager. It's a brand new position due to expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high technology business which is working with some of the biggest F1 and motorsport companies.

The Project Manager will have the opportunity to be an influencing figure within the company, with exposure to every project. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful planning and delivery of projects on time; not only meeting safety and compliance requirements but also the technical and budgetary specifications.

Key Duties:

  1. Working within a team of technical experts who specialise in the design, build, and commissioning of world-class motion simulators.
  2. You will be responsible for assuring that all projects deliver safe equipment that satisfies all of the requirements.
  3. Managing multiple projects utilising the appropriate systems, processes, and resources to facilitate optimal delivery.
  4. Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues, and agreeing accountabilities and responsibilities with the wider project team.
  5. Coordinate and communicate project scope, identify dependencies, and understand the critical path to secure timely project delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  1. This is not a technical position; you don't have to be a qualified engineer.
  2. A degree qualification is preferred.
  3. In-depth understanding of Project Management fundamentals.
  4. Experience managing senior-level internal stakeholders.
  5. Matrix approach.
  6. Demonstrable resource management experience.
  7. Desirable: Experience of working within an engineering company in a non-technical project management / project coordinator position.
  8. Understanding or experience of software, hardware, or simulation projects.
  9. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  10. A logical approach to approaching tasks and solving problems.
  11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  12. Ability to work in a high-pressure dynamic environment.
  13. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  14. Collaboration and engagement skills.
