Overview of the role

We are looking for a Project Manager with proven project management experience, excellent leadership and communication skills to join my client's Connected Intelligence, Secure Communications Project Management Team. The successful applicant will lead the delivery phase of complex military satellite communications projects and provide project initiation and planning expertise in the associated business winning campaigns. My client standards adopt the lifecycle guidance recommended by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

5. Delivering complex secure communications infrastructure and services
6. Managing projects in accordance with the client's project lifecycle standards & accountable for the quality, cost and schedule performance of the project

Skillset & Experience

Essential

1. A good understanding of the PMI Project Management body of knowledge
2. A basic understanding of AGILE project management
3. Solid experience in a similar role of approving initial briefs/baselines, delivering projects and supporting bids in an engineering environment. Ideally, this will be in the communications, aerospace, space or defence industries

Desirable

1. A degree or equivalent in project management, business management, or a relevant engineering discipline
2. A good technical background to support your project management role
3. STEM degree or equivalent
4. PMI/PMP certification
