Job Title: Project Manager (Nuclear)
Location: Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk
Contract Type: Freelance, Inside IR35
Rate: Up to £60 per hour for exceptional candidates
Work Schedule: 5 days a week on-site
Contract Duration: 12-18 months (minimum)
Job Description: We are seeking 8 experienced Project Managers to join our client for the Sizewell C nuclear project in Leiston, Suffolk. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for professionals with a background in nuclear projects. The role requires a full-time on-site presence and offers competitive compensation for exceptional candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project alignment and compliance.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth project progression.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities meet the required quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with nuclear safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Nuclear Project Experience: Proven experience in managing nuclear projects.
- Project Management Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of nuclear project requirements and regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
