In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed both promptly and to the highest quality standards.

You will be expected to work diligently in alignment with contract deliverables, detailed specifications, and the specific requirements of our clients. Your core responsibility will be leading on projects for a prestigious central government client. Your core duties will include:

  1. Supporting to agree the client’s brief from inception in conjunction with any other consultants appointed, and arranging for the appointment of other consultants as necessary.
  2. Co-ordinating, managing and communicating with the client, project stakeholders and other consultants appointed to meet requirements of the project.
  3. Preparation of programmes and undertaking programme management.
  4. Undertaking change management, co-ordinating the design process, overseeing and managing the control of the project both pre- and post-contract including financial expenditure throughout all RIBA stages.
  5. Preparing and issuing reports, including but not limited to preparation of Project Execution Plans (PEP), Strategy Reports, Risk Registers, Progress Reports etc.

Please note you must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role due to the nature of the projects you will be working on.

About You

You will be committed to enhancing our positive working culture, by having a compassionate attitude and always treating others with respect. In order to be considered for this role, you must:

  1. Have experience in a similar role in the construction environment.
  2. Have a comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles.
  3. Have excellent communication, client facing, and presentation skills.

In order to stand out from the crowd, it is desirable for you:

  1. To have experience working with public sector clients.
  2. Experience with 5 case business case model development.
  3. Are a member of a construction related professional body, such as RICS, CIOB, CIBSE.
  4. To be Chartered or working towards Chartership.
