Job Description

To meet the growing demand for our First Derivative services, we are looking to hire a Project Manager with strong ISO payments knowledge to join us on a permanent basis in London. There will be a 4-day in-office requirement.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for change management across our clients' business covering the following:

  1. Manage the full project lifecycle adhering to standard governance and best practice from project initiation to closure.
  2. Where applicable, deliver complex change projects from design through to build, deployment, and handover to BAU.
  3. Work with subject matter experts and the project team to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data input and future migration requirements.
  4. Work closely with relevant business and key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
  5. Create and maintain project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  6. Prepare data input and migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality, and business sign-off details.
  7. Understand project budgeting; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances, project plan baseline, and change control and initiate corrective actions.
  8. Maintain project status reports to stakeholders; coordinate and provide updates to steering committees; anticipate and react to change.
  9. Identify & manage inter-dependencies with other projects as and when required.
  10. Work closely with technology, including Infrastructure and business product owners, to design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  11. Produce management information surrounding project health and delivery of progress.
  12. Plan, manage, and escalate risks/issues in a timely fashion to determine priorities and feed end strategy, monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan.
  13. Responsible for identifying resource demand and assigning responsibilities to ensure target dates are achieved.
  14. Manage all day-to-day operational aspects of the project deliverables.
  15. Work closely with the central PMO to ensure project governance and project delivery processes are aligned and there is a complete audit trail.

Requirements:

  1. Project management experience in Capital Markets
  2. 5-9 years practical experience
  3. ISO payments experience
