Project manager Hydrogen / Renewables / Chemical

We are working for a Global Operator that is growing rapidly in the renewable sector and looking for a Project Manager.

Salary: £65K - £70K plus a 7% bonus, holidays, pension, and health cover.

Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Proposal Development:
  - Lead scope generation for the proposal with interaction with the Business Development Managers.
  - Participate in customer engagement meetings.
  - Prepare estimates for the proposal, working with the engineering teams and other groups within the company.
  - In conjunction with the Business Development Manager, prepare proposals for customers.
• Project Execution:
  - Conduct project execution activities including cost management, schedule, budget, safety performance aspects, and compliance with applicable legislation.
  - Be the customer's privileged point of contact for projects once in execution.
  - Ensure that project scope changes are raised and managed.
  - Setup and execute projects in SAP including cost tracking and reporting.
  - Manage Service Orders and Service Contracts, cost tracking, and reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Gasses/Hydrogen/Chemical/Petrochemical/Renewables or related field including ideally project management experience.
• Strong influencing, communication, and facilitative skills.
• Ability to make timely and sound decisions.
