Job Title: Project Manager - HR Transformation
Location: London (Hybrid)
Rate: Up to £850 per day (Inside IR35)

Overview

Our client, a leading organisation within the insurance sector, is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the stand-up of a new HR function. This role forms part of a broader programme to establish a new greenfield entity and involves end-to-end project delivery from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the implementation of HR function projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Define clear project scopes, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and manage resources, including internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Oversee execution and track progress using appropriate tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project continuity and stakeholder confidence.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory controls.
  • Guarantee quality assurance standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in managing HR transformation projects, particularly in areas such as HR systems implementation, recruitment processes, and organisational change.
  • Experience working in an FCA regulated environment.
  • Experience working on a greenfield programme or building a function from scratch.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and reporting within large enterprises.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
  • High level of proficiency in project management tools, especially MS Project.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
