About the Role:
I'm currently working with one of the biggest names in commercial fit-out operating nationally. My client is looking for a talented Project Manager to join their fantastic Midlands team, delivering commercial fit-out projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage commercial fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Lead and coordinate all site activities, including subcontractor management, procurement scheduling, and logistics planning.
3. Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams, maintaining strong communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Work closely with the commercial team to monitor costs, variations, and contract compliance.
5. Ensure all health & safety regulations are rigorously adhered to, conducting regular site inspections and managing risk assessments.
6. Manage project programmes and milestones, identifying and resolving potential delays or issues proactively.
7. Chair regular site meetings and progress reviews with all relevant stakeholders.
8. Drive a culture of high performance and attention to detail across the delivery team.

1. Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out projects, ideally within office, retail, or hospitality environments.
2. Strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
3. Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive performance on site and maintain strong client relationships.
4. Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
5. Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta, or similar).
6. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage cost control, variations, and procurement.
7. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
8. SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certification (or equivalent).
9. Full UK driving licence.
