Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee numerous Environmental Services projects from cradle to grave including development of technical and commercial proposals, ongoing cost control, project management during scope execution, client interface/liaison and project close-out.
  2. Drive HSEQ compliance and culture within offshore workforce and take ownership for HSEQ performance on individual projects.
  3. Ensure compliance with Altrad Management System Procedures and policies.
  4. Cultivate and maintain good relationships with ES Offshore workforce.
  5. Provision of technical support.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Safety
  2. Drive the culture within allocated projects for HSE behaviours.
  3. Understand the company safety policy requirements, ensuring at all times the works are undertaken and maintained to the highest safety standards.
  4. Ensure that scopes under your control are reviewed and planned at a high level to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements.
  5. Promote safe working practices and safety awareness through implementation of the HSEQ Plan, safety campaigns, safety meetings and briefings.
  6. Ensure that all equipment and working practices are planned to ensure compliance.
  7. Ensure that all hazards are identified and assessed to mitigate risk exposure.
  8. Ensure that all corrective actions from accident/incident investigations/audits are closed out in an expedient manner.
  1. Client
  2. Lead Client Engagement for projects and work with a client-focussed mindset.
  3. Develop operational plans in conjunction with client requirements.
  4. Ensure that all client expectations are delivered.
  5. Follow up client enquiries and demands promptly.
  6. Cultivate and develop good relations.
  1. Commercial
  2. Monitor the contract budgets and costs.
  3. Support negotiations with the Customer where any variations and changes to contract carry commercial implications.
  1. Operations
  2. Overall management and accountability for workscopes from Engineering to Execution.
  3. Work with Logistics teams to ensure correct disciplines are allocated specific to the scope of work.
  4. Provide Yard and Logistics team with all Equipment Requirements for workscopes.
  5. Propose the most efficient methodology and technology to ensure high standard of delivery and results for our clients.
  6. Monitor progress and success of workscopes, ensuring timely reporting back to clients.
  7. Provision of technical support to offshore and onshore teams across all disciplines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Technical knowledge of Environmental Services delivery (Ultra/High Pressure Water Jetting, Confined Space Entry Tank/Vessel Cleaning) and ability to develop methodologies and SSOW documentation (RAMS, permit reviews, equipment and PPE requirements).
  2. Ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  3. Commercial Awareness.
  4. Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Suite.
  5. Proven experience in managing multiple projects at once essential.
  6. Excellent communication and organisation skills essential.
  7. APM Qualification desirable.
  8. Knowledge/experience of Specialist Environmental Services i.e. Cold Cutting, Chemical Cleaning desirable.
  9. Knowledge of Offshore O&G Operations.
