Project Manager - Environment

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Work Pattern)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our local council team in Birmingham. This role is pivotal in driving our environmental and health initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering community well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects related to the environment and health regulations.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local and national environmental health regulations.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head of Environment and Regulatory Services, Regulatory Services Manager, or Environmental Health Manager.
• Strong understanding of environmental health regulations and policies.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
