Project Manager (Civils & Electrical – EV Charging)

Hybrid Working: This role requires travel to project sites across Greater London.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Civils & Electrical Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of EV infrastructure projects. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in civils, electrical works, and infrastructure development, as well as excellent stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civils and electrical infrastructure projects for EV charging installations.
- Oversee site preparation, groundworks, cabling, and installation activities.
- Manage project scope, budgets, and timelines, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and resolve issues.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal delays.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and financial tracking.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring successful project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in project management within civils and electrical infrastructure, ideally in the EV charging sector.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, electrical installations, and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
Essential Certifications:
- SMSTS certification
- Valid UK driving licence
- Prince2, APM, or PMP certification (preferred)
