Project Manager - £75k-£85k + Comprehensive Package

Role: Project Manager (Permanent, Full-Time - 45 hrs/week)
Salary: £75k-£85k + Full Benefits Package
Location: East London

TRIbuild Solutions are hiring a Project Manager on behalf of our client - a leading civil engineering and infrastructure specialist with over 40 years of experience across water, transport, built environment, and energy sectors.

The Role:

We're looking for a dynamic Project Manager to oversee multiple civil engineering projects from design to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget. You'll work closely with site delivery teams and surveyors while driving commercial performance and maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project costs, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting.
  2. Develop and maintain construction programmes.
  3. Lead site meetings, ensuring accurate record-keeping and action follow-ups.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  5. Ensure compliance with company procedures, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  6. Provide cost-effective engineering solutions and resolve design challenges.
  7. Produce risk assessments, method statements, and site waste management plans.
  8. Manage subcontractors and drive commercial efficiency.

About You:

Essential:

  1. Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  2. Strong knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, NEC contracts, and cost control.
  3. Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
  4. MEICA capabilities.
  5. CSCS Manager's card, SMSTS, and NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience managing heavy civils, rail, water, and utilities projects.
  8. Sub-contract management and P6 programming experience.
  9. Temporary works coordinator/supervisor experience.

Desirable:

  1. CEng MICE.
  2. Knowledge of JCT contracts.
  3. Thames Water and rail project experience.
  4. NRSWA and Lifting AP training.
