TRIbuild Solutions are hiring a Project Manager on behalf of our client - a leading civil engineering and infrastructure specialist with over 40 years of experience across water, transport, built environment, and energy sectors.
The Role:
We're looking for a dynamic Project Manager to oversee multiple civil engineering projects from design to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget. You'll work closely with site delivery teams and surveyors while driving commercial performance and maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project costs, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting.
- Develop and maintain construction programmes.
- Lead site meetings, ensuring accurate record-keeping and action follow-ups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Provide cost-effective engineering solutions and resolve design challenges.
- Produce risk assessments, method statements, and site waste management plans.
- Manage subcontractors and drive commercial efficiency.
About You:
Essential:
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, NEC contracts, and cost control.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
- MEICA capabilities.
- CSCS Manager's card, SMSTS, and NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing heavy civils, rail, water, and utilities projects.
- Sub-contract management and P6 programming experience.
- Temporary works coordinator/supervisor experience.
Desirable:
- CEng MICE.
- Knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Thames Water and rail project experience.
- NRSWA and Lifting AP training.
