Are you an experienced Project Manager within rail?

Have you had previous CET project management experience?

TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high-profile railway client. They are expanding their projects and are looking for an experienced Project Manager CET - Rail to join their team located in Northampton and Birmingham on a contract basis. This role is paying between £450 to £600 per day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Project manage the Northampton River Sidings CET from development, design, procurement, delivery to entry into service and hand back.
• Capturing stakeholder requirements.
• Generating sponsor's remits.
• Produce procurement strategy.
• Produce RFCs to DfT.
• Produce work specification / scope.
• Production of procurement deliverables and take through process.
• Management of design suppliers for surveys and design.
• Manage delivery suppliers for construction and acting as safety lead for checking quality and safety on site.
• Participate in all relevant project and PMO reporting activities as required.

Skills and Experience:

• A University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business or significant operational experience.
• Previous rail experience preferred.
• A PRINCE2 Practitioner/ APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
• An influencer, with excellent stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience of working within a rail depot environment.
• Experience of the full project lifecycle, from design through to delivery.
• Competent on the use of IT to undertake report writing and analysis – e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Salary: £450 - £600 per day (outside IR35)

Contract: 10 Month Contract (potential to extend) – Full Time – 5 Days (Hybrid)
