Project Manager/Business Analyst - Data

Daily Rate: £350 - £400 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
Client End Date: December 31, 2025

Location: BELFAST - HYBRID WORKING - 3 DAYS ONSITE

About Us:

Join our client, a leading organisation in the financial sector, as they embark on their Markets Transformation initiative. This programme is seeking a skilled Project Manager/Business Analyst to help drive this critical work forward.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of the programme. Your blend of project management and business/data analysis skills will support the team in preparing concise activity reports, facilitating engagements, and driving project results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare clear and concise progress reports tailored to diverse audiences.
2. Provide effective check and challenge on reports produced by other functions.
3. Utilise best practise PMO methodologies to maintain plans, risks, and issues that align with stakeholder needs.
4. Drive project outcomes as a representative of the Markets team.
5. Facilitate remediation-related discussions with Markets product lines.
6. Analyse project data proactively and track progress against established goals.
7. Recognise and articulate emerging problems, bringing the right stakeholders together for resolution.
8. Communicate project status effectively across various stakeholders to promote partner involvement.
9. Define, teach, and enforce good project management practises, breaking down complex activities into manageable tasks.
10. Liaise with Business SMEs, providing necessary support for timely project completion.

Key Skills Required:

1. Experience in regulatory programmes.
2. Knowledge of Markets, including risk and controls, trade lifecycle, and products is advantageous.
3. Familiarity with Data Governance, Data Quality, and Controls is preferred.
4. Articulate and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
5. Detail-oriented with the ability to investigate deeply into content while maintaining a broader portfolio perspective.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across large organisations.
7. Ability to drive progress and ensure deadlines are met, issue by issue.
8. Experience managing inter-department dependencies (e.g., Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit).
9. Proficient in planning and organising, adaptable in team settings and independent work.
10. Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving positive change.
11. Critical thinking and analytical skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
12. Proven experience and successes in similar roles.
13. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
