We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our ever-evolving Business Management Office (BMO) team to help us unleash the potential of every business.
About the team
Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we're best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still - delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world.
The Business Management Office (BMO) will be responsible for supporting the critical needs of the Technology (CTO) arm of the business, by providing critical functions in both an operational BAU capacity and a strategic efficiency, strategy and insights perspective.
What you'll own
- Project Management coordination of discreet packages of work, such as operational, staffing/resourcing or executive reporting based projects
- Develop and own specific business processes / governance frameworks (e.g. CTO Staffing Management for the CTO organization ~3,500 staff)
- Employing data modelling techniques to identify ways in which an organization can operate more effectively
- Communicate with senior stakeholders to procure requirements and convey insights and proposals
- Formulate ways for businesses to improve effectiveness in how we deliver and better support our Engineering organization by streamlining critical processes, linked to staffing, procurement, capacity management etc.
- Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new processes and tooling
- Oversee the implementation of new processes, approaches and technology
- Run workshops and training sessions
- Explore where we can benefit from alternative solutions, their risks, benefits and impacts
- Proposing solutions to our stakeholder and keeping them updated with progress
- Creating technical and process led documents to outline the proposed changes and the steps involved
- Ensuring the changes are successfully implemented against requirements
- Contributing to training and support for people affected by new systems and processes

What you bring- Advanced skills in being able to distill down requirements and understand how to articulate them verbally and in written format
- Advanced skills in managing / organizing / combing complex data sets
- Advanced knowledge of building complex data models in Excel and supporting applications (complex formulas, macros, pivot table analysis etc)
- Ability to compile executive summary presentations of data insights, observations and proposals
- Interpersonal skills and confidence enough to lead / run data gathering and execution workshops, with clear outcomes and progress communicated throughout
- Questions, checks and evaluates information and sources in order to determine best path forward.
- Able to identify and separate out the key components of problems and situations
- Manipulate and interpret information from multiple sources, to spot patterns and trends in information and to deduce cause and effect from this
- Can generate a range of creative solutions, evaluate them and choose the most appropriate option
- Shares information and supports team members / the wider organization
- PowerBI knowledge would be a preference
