Vertical Recruitment are delighted to be working with an innovative and forward thinking residential developer known for their high-quality developments in and around London.

This is a unique opportunity to join a boutique developer, working on residential projects from the moment the land is acquired to the final stages of construction.

You will play a key role in overseeing the development of designs that are both visually appealing and highly functional, ensuring each project aligns with quality standards, enhances the built environment, and contributes meaningfully to the community.

Role Overview:

As the Project Manager within the business, you will oversee and manage residential development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your architectural expertise will be invaluable liaising with the inhouse architectural team to maintain design integrity while ensuring practicality and efficiency in construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage the full project lifecycle from inception to completion.
• Program & Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints. Monitor site progress, quality control, and adherence to project timelines.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with the internal architects to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Quality Control: Oversee project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure construction quality meets the required standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualification & Experience

• ARB Registered Architect - Must be registered with ARB and have at least 5 years post Part III qualification experience at a UK-based practice.
• Residential Expertise - A background within the residential sector is highly advantageous
• Project Management experience – At least 3 years of experience working as a project manager within consultancy or for another developer.
