Salary: Dependent on experience

Working hours: Day Shift, Monday - Friday

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire

This exciting opportunity will encompass Product Development, NPI and Operational Improvement projects. The successful candidate will lead multiple projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle.

The Project Manager (Aerospace) Role:

1. Oversee and manage the entire project lifecycle from cradle to grave.
2. Implement a robust project delivery plan, including milestones to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality, cost-effectively and within budget.
3. Lead NPI and Operational Improvement projects.
4. Track, assess and manage the project throughout the entire lifecycle, providing guidance and solutions when required.
5. Liaise with internal and external personnel, including project customers to ensure customer satisfaction at all times and be the primary contact for project enquiries.
6. Form excellent working relationships with internal and external parties.
7. Drive Continuous Improvement throughout the department(s).
8. Present to Senior Stakeholders and various teams during project and business reviews.
9. Ensure relevant documentation is maintained, recorded and stored accurately.

You'll Need:

1. Prince2 Qualification or equivalent.
2. Previous experience of project management within an engineering or aerospace environment.
3. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence, lead and motivate a team(s).
4. Experience of leading NPI projects.
5. Engineering or Scientific qualification(s) would be advantageous.
6. Adopts a methodical and highly organised approach to ensure project milestones are achieved.
7. Able to present to internal and external teams.
8. Proficient in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
9. Analytical skills with the ability to identify areas for operation improvement, addressing problem areas and providing viable solutions.
