Project Manager

We're currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on a series of high-profile engineering projects at a major power station site in Grangemouth.

Location: Grangemouth, with occasional travel as required
Salary: £55,000 per annum (Inside IR35)
Contract Type: Permanent
Car Allowance: £425/month

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of complex engineering projects within the energy and infrastructure sector. This includes coordinating internal teams across electrical, control, systems integration, and instrumentation disciplines, while maintaining strong client engagement and commercial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full project ownership from handover to close-out
2. Management of schedules, resources, budgets, and risk
3. Overseeing health & safety and ensuring CDM compliance
4. Leading on-site delivery and subcontractor coordination
5. Contract management including NEC4 and variation control
6. Accurate financial forecasting and reporting

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. HNC/Degree in Electrical or Control Engineering (preferred)
2. 2+ years of project management experience in engineering or construction
3. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of NEC contracts
4. SSSTS/SMSTS and CDM Principal Contractor experience desirable
5. Full UK driving licence required
