About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be the senior member of the site operations team, with ultimate responsibility for the successful delivery of projects. You will liaise closely with the Construction Director, Client, Design Team, Subcontractors, and other trades, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and in line with all requirements. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating all aspects of the project, managing resources effectively, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Construction Director to plan and prepare the project, ensuring all project requirements, specifications, design drawings, and HSEQ procedures are understood and agreed upon.
2. Understand the Client's needs from the start, manage their expectations throughout the project, and ensure clear communication.
3. Oversee the programming and monitoring of all works, ensuring the project is on track.
4. Ensure procurement processes meet both budget and schedule requirements.
5. Maintain high construction standards on site, ensuring adherence to specifications.
6. Responsible for the upkeep and quality of work throughout the project.
7. Plan ahead and coordinate daily with the site team on planned works and site issues.
8. Ensure the safety of the public, site visitors, and staff by implementing preventive safety measures.
9. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular progress updates.
10. Work closely with the design team to issue and monitor design information.
11. Ensure that all as-built drawings, CVIs, RFIs, and other relevant documentation are maintained and understood.
12. Lead the project team, ensuring the right people are in place and fostering team spirit.
13. Provide weekly updates to Directors and Senior Management.

Education, Training, and Key Skills:

1. Proven site management experience in construction.
2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
3. HNC/HND/degree/NVQ in Construction Management or a related field.
4. Proficiency in IT (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5. SMSTS qualification.
6. CSCS Card (Black Management Level).
7. Full UK Driving License.
8. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
10. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and approachable with a professional manner.
11. Ability to work independently, flexibly, and as part of a team.
