About the client:
Our client is a well established and ever growing engineering company based in the South Coast, working across the water and environmental sectors. The team delivers practical infrastructure projects with a focus on quality, collaboration, and sustainability.


We are supporting the search for a Project Manager with experience in the UK water sector. The role involves delivering infrastructure and environmental projects, primarily for utility clients. You'll be responsible for project planning, coordination, and delivery from start to finish.


Role Overview & Key Responsibilities - Project Manager:
  1. Manage the full project lifecycle from mobilisation to handover with projects up to £1M.
  2. Work closely with water utility companies and supply chain partners across the UK.
  3. Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
  4. Monitor budgets, schedules, and project performance.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  6. Report progress to clients and stakeholders.
  7. Support commercial and contract management tasks.

Role Requirements - Project Manager:
  1. Project management experience in the UK water sector.
  2. Familiarity with utility frameworks or direct utility client work.
  3. Knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar).
  4. Able to manage timelines, costs, and risks effectively.
  5. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:
  1. Degree in engineering, environmental science, or similar.
  2. APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  3. Experience delivering design and build projects.
