Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the refurbishment of a high-end residential listed building, including the addition of a two-storey basement. In addition to this key project, you will be responsible for managing various commercial fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong background in both high-end residential and commercial project management, with the ability to handle complex and multifaceted developments.

1. Project Leadership: Take full ownership of projects from quote acceptance through to completion, ensuring adherence to high standards, budget control, and timely delivery.
2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with site managers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
3. Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Project Director on project progress, costs, timelines, and any potential challenges.
4. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building regulations, particularly with respect to listed buildings.
5. Quality Assurance: Oversee and maintain high standards of quality throughout all phases of construction, with a focus on finishes and attention to detail.

1. Proven experience in residential construction and commercial fit-outs, particularly with listed buildings and new builds involving complex structures like basements.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and engage with clients.
3. Hands-on experience managing projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management.
4. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ).
2. Familiarity with construction project management software.
