About the Company

Our client, a rapidly growing fintech payments technology business, is on an exciting journey of expansion. Recognized as one of the hottest Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) providers in 2025, they are seeking a talented Project Manager to lead and manage multiple high-impact payments projects as they continue to grow.

Role Summary

As the Project Manager, you will act as a key customer-facing stakeholder, guiding clients through all critical implementation phases, including operational, technical, and compliance streams. You’ll also drive internal project coordination across departments, ensuring seamless execution of customer-led projects and working closely with partners like VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Client-Focused Project Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, assisting them through technical, operational, and compliance processes.
• Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
• Documentation Preparation: Prepare and submit regulatory documentation to Third-Party Licensors (TPL).
• Compliance Management: Work closely with compliance teams to secure necessary sign-offs.
• Project Ownership: Manage project tools and timelines, ensuring key milestones are met.
• Card Program Management: Oversee the card manufacturing and personalization process for multiple clients simultaneously.
• Third-Party Integration: Coordinate with third-party providers such as Thread to implement project plans.
• Scheme Management: Manage projects involving VISA and Mastercard for Bank Identification Number (BIN) implementations with third parties.
• Tokenization Projects: Oversee tokenization integrations with platforms like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
• Application Testing: Review and test customer applications to ensure compliance with process flows, regulatory mandates, and scheme rules.
• Status Tracking: Create and maintain detailed project plans, assigning and tracking workloads for smooth project progression.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Organize weekly progress calls to review project milestones and address any challenges.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing complex projects within fintech, payments, or BaaS environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Familiarity with VISA/Mastercard implementations and tokenization processes.
• Experience coordinating across compliance and regulatory functions.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £60,000 per annum + package + shares
