We have a new opportunity for a dynamic Project Manager to join us to collaborate, drive and deliver change projects which support the achievement of the Group strategy.

We are particularly interested to speak with candidates who have knowledge of the Irish market and regulations as well as experience in delivering ETF change related projects or establishing fund Management Committees.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team where you will have responsibility for leading and managing projects on behalf of one or more business functions.

About the role

  • This Project Manager role will sit within the Royal London Asset Management Change team, working with a team of experienced Project and Program Managers as well as Business Analysts.
  • Planning and managing the on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery of projects key to the business strategy.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships for the project, from the Executive through to business functions and project team members. Identifying, addressing and resolving differences between individuals and/or interested groups.
  • Preparing and maintaining definitions of project scope and implementing where necessary, protocols to change the scope of projects; updating project documentation as required.
  • Securing the resources needed to enable successful project delivery, taking account of availability and scheduling.
  • Working with the wider business to determine the best means of satisfying requirements within the context of project objectives and constraints i.e. developing solutions.
  • Developing and agreeing budgets for projects, controlling forecasts and actual costs against them.
  • Identifying and monitoring project risks, planning and implementing responses to them and responding to other issues that affect projects and portfolios.
  • Considers operational risk and adheres to security and risk policies while ensuring that risk-based decisions are evidenced and taken at all times.
  • Developing and leading cross-functional Change teams which may include both task and line/people management, establishing an environment of trust and empowerment.

About you

  • Proven experience of Executive stakeholder management, including Steering Committees and ability to talk to business strategy and outcomes over project processes.
  • Excellent planning, tracking and reporting skills across multi-workstream projects.
  • Skilled in coordinating multiple business functions to achieve a common goal.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery practices.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple, concurrent or competing projects.
  • Desirable: Proven experience in delivering ETF-related Change projects, covering elements such as fund structures and documentation, legal and regulatory, listing, tax, sales, skills, processes, technology, third-party relationships and due diligence.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of international markets and of regulatory landscapes especially Ireland.
