Salter Grange have partnered with a main contractor for the recruitment of an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the fit-out stage of a prestigious £23 million cut and carve commercial development in the London Borough of Southwark.

This role demands a hands-on leader who can successfully navigate the challenges of a complex, fast-paced fit-out phase, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the delivery of the fit-out stage for the £23m commercial project, ensuring alignment with the design vision, budget, and timelines.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
3. Develop and maintain detailed programmes, tracking progress and implementing effective corrective measures as needed.
4. Identify and manage project risks while ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Take responsibility for project finances, driving value engineering opportunities while maintaining the integrity of the design intent.
6. Lead, inspire, and manage the site and project team to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements:

1. Proven track record managing high-value cut and carve or fit-out projects, ideally in commercial developments.
2. Strong understanding of complex fit-out projects, including structural modifications and finishes.
3. Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and engage stakeholders.
4. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
5. Familiarity with construction regulations and standards.
