Location: Sizewell C (Hybrid: 2/3 days on-site or in-office, with remote working options)
Rate: £500 - £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: Long-term (Minimum 10 years)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage critical project activities at Sizewell C, a ground-breaking UK energy infrastructure project. You will oversee large-scale, complex infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and timeline objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site project activities, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Obtain permits and consents for Development Consent Order (DCO) compliance.
- Support Senior Project Managers, Commercial, and Procurement teams in developing sourcing strategies and tender documents.
- Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide written and oral reports on progress, risks, and performance metrics to the Senior Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Interface with other projects/programmes to ensure seamless integration and adoption of best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record as a Project Manager on large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., HS2, HPC, Thames Tideway, CrossRail, TfL).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Significant experience in contractor and authority management and delivery of highways, structures, and utilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Background in civil engineering, with a specialism in road construction (preferred).
