Project Manager

Location: Sizewell C (Hybrid: 2/3 days on-site or in-office, with remote working options)

Rate: £500 - £600 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract: Long-term (Minimum 10 years)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage critical project activities at Sizewell C, a ground-breaking UK energy infrastructure project. You will oversee large-scale, complex infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and timeline objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site project activities, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Obtain permits and consents for Development Consent Order (DCO) compliance.
• Support Senior Project Managers, Commercial, and Procurement teams in developing sourcing strategies and tender documents.
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide written and oral reports on progress, risks, and performance metrics to the Senior Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Interface with other projects/programmes to ensure seamless integration and adoption of best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record as a Project Manager on large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., HS2, HPC, Thames Tideway, CrossRail, TfL).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Significant experience in contractor and authority management and delivery of highways, structures, and utilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Background in civil engineering, with a specialism in road construction (preferred).

• Must hold a UK passport or have the right to work in the UK.
