Job Title: Project Manager - Policy Administration Business Change Programme

Location: Fully Remote

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Fixed Term)

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience) + Bonus

Our client is a leading insurance business undergoing a significant business transformation. As part of their ongoing commitment to innovation and service excellence, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a major Policy Administration Business Change Programme.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead and manage the Policy Administration Business Change Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and delivery of the transformation programme within the insurance business. This will involve working closely with key stakeholders across various departments, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful deployment of new policies and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of the Policy Administration Business Change Programme, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to close, ensuring the effective delivery of key milestones and outputs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and work with key stakeholders to manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Provide regular status updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and visibility across the programme.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to engage with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, track progress, and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery.
  • Ensure that the programme delivers high-quality business outcomes, including efficient policy administration systems and processes.

Requirements:

To be successful, you will have:

  • A track record in leading business change implementation projects for Policy Administration Systems.
  • A background in insurance system process change, with experience dealing with business-facing stakeholders.
  • 5-7 years minimum experience within the insurance industry.
  • Experience in leading broker, policy, or underwriting system change projects, where you have faced off to business teams and led people, process, and technology change initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry, policy administration systems, and business change processes.
  • Experience leading large-scale, complex business transformation programmes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage both technical and business aspects of the programme, bridging the gap between IT teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
