We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking project manager to join our established and growing team at Gatwick.

Project: Working on refurbishment of passenger areas, works to improve security compliance processes within terminals, MEP refurbishment and projects to extend the serviceability lifespan of existing buildings.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering the project to safety, quality, programme and cost as agreed within the work package execution plan.
  2. Ensuring the overall works are delivered in accordance with developed and defined integrated processes, procedures, strategies and tools as listed in the employers.
  3. Acting as principal contractors' representative.
  4. Liaising with key stakeholders and attending liaison meetings.
  5. Setting up regular and clear lines of communication to address issues that may arise.
  6. Ensuring the project start sheet and project quality plan are prepared and that the PQP is regularly updated.
  7. Reporting to the client each month, or as frequently agreed, on progress and all commercial matters.
  8. Ensuring construction phase health and safety plan is in place before undertaking any work on site.
  9. Directing and managing all site-based activities via the construction manager.
  10. Ensuring project delivery takes place in accordance with the project milestones as outlined within the programme.

About you:
You will have a degree qualification in engineering or project management and a member of a relevant professional body. You will be used to working in high risk or other mission critical and logistically challenging environments such as rail and aviation. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams.
