Job description

Our client is an exciting fast-paced business looking for an experienced Project Manager, with a proven track record in overseeing refurbishments, commercial fitouts, and new builds from contract award through to handover.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable site experience in managing D&B and/or Traditional Fit Out, refurbishment, new build, and Cut and Carve projects with values from £50,000 to £3m.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the projects, ensuring that the clients' specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
• Liaising with the clients, other construction professionals, and sometimes members of the public.
• Coordinating and supervising construction teams.
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety.
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.
• Maintaining quality control procedures.
• Assessing and minimizing risk.
• Helping to negotiate contracts and secure permits and licenses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Site/Project Management or relevant fields.
• SMSTS, First Aid & relevant CSCS Card.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver completed projects.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Experience working with a wider team.
