Project Manager

Our Client
Our client is a national commercial build contractor who is looking for a freelance project manager to oversee their newbuild retail project in the Chester area, from its preconstruction through to its handover.

As Project Manager, you will:

1. Maintain all H&S and RAMS on site
2. Assist with preconstruction and any design changes
3. Liaise with the commercial team, and ensure project variations and budgeting are recorded
4. Organise subcontractors
5. Liaise with the Client

You will have:

1. Extensive construction management experience (Contractor side)
2. Good commercial awareness and excellent organisation skills
3. Good knowledge of process from civils through to handover
4. Experience in D&B commercial retail projects
5. SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS are essential
6. UK-based contractor experience is essential
7. Please note that project management experience from any other industry will not be considered
