Project Manager (Academic)
Salary: £34,500 - £44,850
Location: Cambridge (hybrid)
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months from start date, full time (35 hours per week)
We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge. As a part of the University, we are always pursuing our mission to advance teaching, learning and research, and in the Academic team, our strategic projects directly drive this mission on a day-to-day basis. This role will be instrumental in managing two such projects, both of which are helping us to move toward our open research goals. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects, you will manage two key strategic projects within our Commercial team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
You will create and maintain project documentation, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and track project deliverables and timelines. Your role is crucial in unlocking new commercial value and helping us serve our customers efficiently.
You are a passionate, experienced project manager who is looking for a new challenge. Ideally, you have some experience and knowledge of the academic publishing world. You are ready for a new opportunity to apply your skills in project planning, stakeholder management, and delivery management to important strategic projects in open research that need strong leadership and facilitation.
