Project Health & Safety Manager

Client

Buildings Main Contractor – Main streams of business include Industrial, Commercial, Data & Logistics.

Role

1. Taking control of Health and Safety process including: Hazard Analysis, SOPs, Contractor Health and Safety Requirements, Accident and Incident Investigation.
2. Carrying out toolbox talks, inductions, and inspections.
3. Creating site HSSE strategies and pushing safety standards.
4. Prepared to travel during the week due to the business being very client-led rather than geographically focused.
5. Delivering safety presentations.
6. Prepared to roll up your sleeves and set standards from the front.
7. A can-do attitude with the ability to build teams and sustain long-term relationships.

Requirements

1. NEBOSH certification.
2. 5+ years on-site experience working as a Safety Manager or Advisor.
3. Experience in Build and Civil Engineering Works.
4. History of working for Main Contractors or Sub-Contractors, focusing on worker welfare and safety on construction sites.
5. Permanent employment history.

Basic salary range of £67,000 - £75,000. Accommodation provided during the weeks, all fully expensed.
