Location: Chichester

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Package

Sector: Industrial (Large scale Steel frame shed)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Manager / Health & Safety Lead to oversee HSE on a landmark steel frame industrial unit project in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading main contractor at the forefront of cutting-edge construction projects in the region.

The Role

• Lead health and safety strategy on a high-profile data centre project.
• Develop and implement HSE procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and accident investigations.
• Provide training and guidance to site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Work closely with project managers and senior leadership to drive a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager or Lead on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience working with main contractors, ideally on data centre or steel frame build projects.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
