You could join our Global Supply Planning team to develop and implement our global supply strategy or work with our Procurement Centre of Excellence team to negotiate and manage our supplier relationships. Our Manufacturing Excellence team helps us improve the efficiency, quality, and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develops new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers.

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Project Engineer to join our Engineering team.

The purpose of the role is to manage the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, covering the installation, commissioning, and validation of process and packaging equipment, facility upgrades, utilities, and infrastructure upgrades.

Your Responsibilities

1. Support the Health Care business by delivering Engineering Capital Investment Projects to Time, Cost, and Quality Expectations.
2. Control all aspects of project activity including engineering, design, programme, safety management, procurement, commissioning, and validation.
3. Prepare Capital Expenditure justification packages.
4. Manage the Capital budget.
5. Maintain awareness of technological and regulatory standards.
6. Formulate creative technical solutions.
7. Negotiate with Suppliers and Contractors.
8. Coordinate multi-disciplined teams.

The Experience We’re Looking For

1. Engineering background with Pharmaceutical or FMCG experience desired.
2. Engineering Qualification, Degree level, BTEC HNC or ONC.
3. Experience in managing internal and external resources to ensure project activities are completed on time, to budget, and the required specification.
4. Working knowledge of GMP requirements for facilities and equipment desired.
5. Manage external contractors whilst adhering to safe working practices and specific HSE requirements.
6. Demonstrable management experience of multiple concurrent projects.
7. Ability to identify and manage project blockers before a critical path is affected.
8. Can plan engineering works to minimize impact on production operations.
9. Adaptable and flexible to changes required from the business.
