Job Description:

This fire engineering company is looking to recruit a Project Engineer/Junior Project Manager to join their expanding team to work in London and the surrounding area. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting Project Managers in all aspects of the delivery of Smoke Ventilation and Fire Alarm Systems. Candidates will need a background within the fire industry (or a related field such as M&E, electrical, building services, or security), and must be able to liaise confidently with clients, project managers, and senior management. This position would suit someone who wants to work in a project environment and become a project manager.

Responsibilities:
  1. Delivery of risk and method statements
  2. Collating detailed project reports including quality and progress
  3. Coordinating onsite deliveries
  4. Assisting the accounts department with all project-related debt
  5. Ensuring good cost control across projects and advising the business of profit/loss
  6. Communicating effectively with subcontractors
  7. Ensuring resources are available in line with the client’s program and monitoring progress
  8. Preparing and issuing all information and certification for the life safety installed systems in a timely fashion
Requirements:
