Job description

Our client is a supplier of high-performance systems to scientific research groups throughout the world. They are dedicated to producing a service that's quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2025 they are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team.

With no day ever being the same, the Project Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Managing the technical/critical success factors of any given project for its lifetime within the company.
  2. In-depth planning of projects.
  3. Design of cryogenic equipment, or working closely with a design team, drawing checking.
  4. Technical input and management of R&D projects, co-ordination of teams.
  5. Customer service and communications, understanding of customer requirements.
  6. Driving the project (projects) to plan.
  7. An understanding of Test and Installation of systems.
  8. Assisting the sales function with technical specifications for tender documentation when required.
  9. Using, designing, and developing processes to enhance products and improve the company performance.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  1. Previous design experience in an R&D environment.
  2. Scientific systems knowledge.
  3. Manufacturing experience.
  4. Experience managing all aspects of projects.

Package and Benefits:

  1. £35,000 - £43,000.
