Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer for our engineering client in Poole, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing various projects for customers.

This role requires great attention to detail, technical expertise, and exceptional communication and relationship management skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

You will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a close-knit team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within established deadlines.

Responsibilities as Project Engineer:

1. Utilise MRP/ERP systems to create parts and bill of materials
2. Manage project milestones and deadlines with confidence
3. Liaise with customers, 3rd parties, internal stakeholders, and suppliers
4. Interpret technical engineering drawings and customer specifications
5. Order materials and purchase consumables as required
6. Pack and load complex project products
7. Prioritise and execute tasks effectively and efficiently

Qualifications and Experience as Project Engineer:

1. Proficient in using MRP/ERP systems
2. Strong communication and relationship management skills
3. Ability to interpret technical engineering drawings and customer specifications
4. Experience in coordinating and executing projects
5. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
6. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
