Job description

HVAC Project Engineer, North East based, basic to c£42k.


Are you looking for:

  1. A role to be part of a busy and expanding team?
  2. Part of a major engineering company, with excellent internal opportunities?

THE ROLE:

  1. Taking a customer project from enquiry, through to successful installation and handover.
  2. Checking design, product selections and customer brief to generate a technical and costed solution.
  3. Working with the internal teams, production and external suppliers to provide equipment to be installed.
  4. Liaising closely with the customer on delivery, site instructions (such as permits/craneage) and site staff to ensure products are installed and commissioned correctly.
  5. Controlling costs and timelines for your projects.
  6. Site visits required as necessary for surveys, installation and commissioning support.

THE PERSON

Essential:

  1. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ideally Air Handling Units, Fans, Coils and ventilation/cooling products.
  2. Ability and experience of handling multiple projects.
  3. Full driving licence to attend site visits as required.

Desirable:

  1. Previous experience of working for an HVAC manufacturer preferred but not essential.

THE PACKAGE

A basic salary up to c£42k with flexible benefits, to include 28 days holiday.


THE LOCATION

Ideally you'll be based near Newcastle & Durham areas to work in the office, with home working available too. Experienced project engineers also considered throughout Central England to work remotely.
